What Happens During A Session?
A typical training session is structured, engaging, and tailored to your dog’s needs. We start with a quick check-in to review progress and address any questions or challenges since the last session.
Next, we dive into hands-on training, using a mix of positive reinforcement and practical techniques. Depending on your goals, this might include obedience work, leash manners, problem-solving, or building confidence through play. Sessions are dynamic, keeping your dog engaged and motivated while ensuring you feel confident handling and reinforcing the training.
Throughout the session, I provide real-time coaching, adjusting exercises as needed and explaining the “why” behind each method. We wrap up with a recap and homework plan, so you know exactly what to practice before our next session, setting you and your dog up for continued success!

Our Family Dog Manners Board & Train program is designed to help your dog build strong foundational skills for everyday life. During their stay, your dog will learn important manners like polite greetings, loose-leash walking, reliable recall, and impulse control — using effective training methods catered to your dogs learning style and what works best with your family. We tailor the program to fit your family’s needs, setting your dog up for success at home and beyond!
Our Sports Dog Board & Train program is built for dogs ready to take their skills to the next level! Whether your dog is just starting out or needs help fine-tuning specific areas of Dock Diving, Agility, High Jump, Disc Dog, Rally, Obedience, Scentwork or other sports, we offer a customized training experience during their stay. Each dog’s program is tailored to their goals, helping them build confidence, focus, and precision to give them a true competitive edge. Our Problem Solving Private Lessons are designed to address specific behavior challenges right where they happen — at home. Whether it’s jumping, leash pulling, barking, resource guarding, or other concerns, we create a customized plan to help you understand the behavior and guide your dog toward better choices. Practical and tailored to your needs!
*While we will work with reactivity we do not work with aggression – we can evaluate if you are unsure.
Our Service Dog Training program helps prepare dogs and handlers for real-world tasks and public access. We focus on building strong foundational skills, task training, and confidence to support a wide range of needs. Each program is tailored to the individual team, using effective methods to create reliable, well-suited service dogs.
